On Monday 11th November we plan to apply a small fix to moodle to resolve a couple of issues with functionality. Specifically to restore the student facing Quiz Navigation block which is currently being stripped out when moodle quizzes are embedded inside Blackboard. In fixing this issue, it will also allow us to use the quiz timer functionality as the quiz timer displays inside the quiz navigation block. The absence of the quiz navigation block was causing a number of other issues therefore this maintenance will fix several issues at once.
There is a small risk of downtime (<1 minute) if the fix is applied incorrectly, but a strong chance of no disruption at all. We will communicate with moodle course owners again after this fix has been applied to confirm it was successful.
